The Slovak team Maco Racing enters the complete twenty-second season at the World Endurance championship of road motorcycle – FIM EWC. Team owner Martin Kuzma introduced the competitors who will appear in the team in 2024.
The Slovak team, who have been riding Yamaha motorcycles throughout their career at the World Championships, have podiums and top 5 finishes in the World Championship and were also the best privateer team in the series, finishing sixth overall. He will want to achieve similar goals in the upcoming season. As competitors, Martin Vugrinec, Takeshi Ishizuka and Martin Choy will help him achieve these goals.
The 25-year-old Croatian racer Martin Vugrinec has won titles in prestigious international and national championships in his career, and with the Maco Racing team he made his appearance in the FIM EWC championship as early as 2023. In the past, he was a competitor in the prestigious Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup series.
At the age of 28, Japanese racer Takeshi Ishizuka has success in the Japanese championships, the FIM CEV REPSOL Moto2 Championship and also in the FIM EWC series, where he has a victory and other podium finishes in the 8 Hours of Suzuka and Sepang in the class Superstock.
Bulgarian racer Martin Choy, who will celebrate his 40th birthday in a few days, is one of the experienced riders with international successes achieved in national and international championships. He also holds the overall championship in the Alpe Adria championship, or third place in the FIM EWC race in Most in the Czech Republic from 2021.
